Along Coleman Street, arguably the most inventions in the 19th century, with stamps and pre-postage payment provided a cheap mean of sending letters and paved the way for mass communication. The Singapore Philatelic Museum features a postage stamp from Singapore and other countries from 1830 to the present day. Presented in a cosy atmosphere and colourful interactive exhibits which offer a window into Singapore and other parts of the world through postage stamps featuring different aspects of history, culture, and science and technologies.
