Yesterday I did post a pre-war landed like bungalow which its faith is still in the balance. Today I post another one but this is a post-war landed house on silts also face the same faith if developer got their hand on them, although there are conservation house along Koon Seng Road and Joo Chiat I don't think the conservation board will be interested in these two units which I have mentioned. This is to document what is left for future generation to see

During the eight-day of the Chinese Lunar New Year the Hokkien dialect group pray to the Jade Emperor (Tian Kong) A altar consisting of 2 stock of Sugar Cane, fruits, pineapple, longevity bun (Sui Toh) Mee Suah. A pair of long red candles, joss sticks and joss paper is offered. When my mum was around everything was handle by her but since she left us 8 years ago the tradition had been taken over by us, I hope that my children will keep on following this tradition hopefully.
