The curtain will fall after this Hari Raya for the Malay Village along Geylang Serai/Haig Road.
New development by the government to be named as Wisma Geylang Serai which will be completed in 2015. Another building will be making way for new development will be the Lion City Hotel, I held my wedding banquet at Happy Restaurant in September 1975
The entire Malay Village had been torn down, waiting for the arrival of the Wisma Geylang Serai at that site
